Voice and Communication Teletherapy
Voice Teletherapy provides specialized, evidence-based treatment for adults who want to improve or rehabilitate their voice. Services are offered virtually, making therapy accessible and flexible. Clients are required to be in California at the time of service delivery.
We support adults with:
- Voice disorders: Improving vocal quality and vocal fatigue related to diagnosed vocal pathology
- Voice differences: Facilitating person-centered voice goals to enhance vocal quality and expression for daily communication
- Parkinson’s Disease: Improving loudness, clarity, and speech intelligibility
Therapy may include:
- Evidence-based approaches (e.g., SPEAK OUT!® for patients with Parkinson’s Disease)
- Vocal hygiene education and lifestyle strategies
- Resonant and efficient voice techniques to reduce strain
- Breath support and coordination exercises
- Personalized practice for real-world communication needs
