Adult Language Group
Therapy Overview
The Adult Language Group provides a supportive environment for adults with a variety of abilities to practice and strengthen language and social communication skills.
Sessions focus on:
- Enhancing conversation skills (turn-taking, topic maintenance, perspective-taking)
- Building awareness of nonverbal communication (facial expressions, body language, tone of voice)
- Practicing problem-solving and flexible thinking in social situations
- Improving self-advocacy and confidence in communication
- Learning strategies to foster meaningful social connections in daily life
Our goal is to empower adults with tools and strategies that can improve social success at work, in relationships, and in community settings.
