Certificate Programs
The advanced certificate programs are open to graduate degree students enrolled in any program at San José State University. Members of the public who hold an undergraduate degree may also apply to complete any of these certificate programs through SJSU Open University.

- Community Design and Development Certificate
- Environmental Planning Certificate
- Real Estate Development Certificate (CRED)
If you're a graduate student at SJSU, then you are eligible for the CRED Program. Graduate students who are relying on CRED Program credits to meet their university graduation requirements should send an email to the Urban Planning, MUP Graduate Advisor. For more information, contact the CRED Director.
Note to Open University Students: OU students will only be able to register for CRED classes on the first day of the semester. Don't worry, there will be space for you! You may contact the CRED Director and/or the class instructor for an add code. - Transportation and Land Use Planning Certificate
