Environmental Resource Center (ERC)

The ERC organizes campus events, such as: Earth Day, Take Back the Tap, Ride to School Day and the Green Office Workshop. In addition, the ERC works in collaboration with other organizations on our campus, moving towards sustainable use of water, energy, and materials.

Institute for Metropolitan Studies (IMS)

Our mission is to connect SJSU students, faculty, and staff with collaborators off campus and with our wider region. The Institute for Metropolitan Studies engages in the issues facing our region through hosting powerful public events, often in collaboration with other institutions and community groups.

Mineta Transportation Institute (MTI)

To move is to live. At the Mineta Transportation Institute (MTI) at San Jose State University, our mission is to increase mobility for all by improving the safety, efficiency, accessibility, and convenience of our nation's transportation system. Through research, education, workforce development and technology transfer, we help create a connected world.

Spatial Analytics and Visualization (SAVI)

The SAVI Center at SJSU uses the power of geography and Geographic Information Science to produce impactful research and professional services which serve our university departments, neighborhood organizations, public agencies and private sector entities in Silicon Valley and the Bay Area.
