Translation & Interpretation Certificate Program
This basic certificate offers undergraduate students a general overview and understanding of the Translation and Interpretation profession using a practical approach where students’ translation and interpretation skills will be developed. The eligible languages for this program are Spanish, French, Japanese, and Chinese. Students will learn the theory, practice, culture and ethics of this discipline in different fields (law, heath, business, hospitality etc.) while gaining civic responsibility by participating in issues related to the local community and learning how to have a positive impact on society. The Translation and Interpretation Certificate is offered by the Department of World Languages and Literatures.
