Swim Lesson Registration

PRIORITY REGISTRATION is set up for students currently enrolled in our swim lesson program. This is designed to reward continuing students who are making steady progress toward their goals. Take advantage of your priority consideration before we open registration to those on our waitlist. Email the Aquatics team at timpany-swimlessons@sjsu.edu to reserve your spot now! 

REQUIREMENTS

You must complete the following steps if you want to receive priority registration.

STEP 1: During the week of priority registration, email the Aquatics team at timpany-swimlessons@sjsu.edu. If you would like to re-enroll for your current time slot please let us know and we will manually enroll you. If your current time slot no longer works for you, please provide your preferred time slot and we will do our best to accommodate. We are unable to guarantee that your preferred time slot will be available.

STEP 2: Once the student is enrolled, they will receive a confirmation email and invoice via email. Payment must be completed prior to the first day of instruction. Payments may be completed online or in person at the front desk, anytime Monday through Friday, 9:00am-4:00pm.

OPEN REGISTRATION is our general registration period when we reach out to those on our waiting list. 

To register for the swim lesson waiting list:

Step 1. Create an account on Timpany Center's RecDesk Community page. .

Step 2. Select the PROGRAMS tab

Step 3. Select SWIM LESSONS

Step 4. Select one of two options: 1. Waitlist for Adaptive Swim Lesson or   2. Waitlist for General Swim Lesson

Step 5. Go to check out

Step 6. Sign waiver and complete a pre-assessment questionnaire

Step 7. Select SUBMIT FORM at the bottom of the page and complete registration

Step 8. Once you are registered for the waitlist, we will email you with a list of available times along with the required enrollment forms.

Step 9. Return your completed enrollment forms to timpany-swimlessons@sjsu.edu and include your preferred class times. Spots will be assigned based on your position on the waitlist, and if none of the spots you list are available, we will move to the next person on the waitlist. To give yourself the best shot of getting a spot, please give us as many options to place you as possible, without selecting times that you cannot realistically commit to for 7 weeks.
