Shannon Miller
Dean, College of the Humanities and the Arts | The Dean is the college’s primary administrator, responsible for setting strategic priorities and overseeing all aspects of the college’s mission. Dr. Miller oversees over 500 faculty and staff who work in eight academic departments, two schools, three centers, and one performing arts center. The college annual budget is $24M exclusive of benefits.
Roula Svorou
Associate Dean for Academic Programs and Student Success | The Associate Dean for Academic Programs and Student Success provides leadership and oversight for enrollment management, scheduling, advising, curriculum, program development and review, accreditation, assessment, student-faculty disputes, and programs and initiatives related to student success.
Mary Elizabeth Anderson
Associate Dean for Research and Faculty Success | The Associate Dean for Research and Faculty Success is responsible for enhancing the research, scholarship, and creative activities in the college and also supports departments in the hiring, retention, promotion, and evaluation of faculty.
Katherine D. Harris
Director of Public Programming | The Director of Public Programming coordinates student-oriented and public-facing programming; extends the integration of curriculum and programming around significant College themes (Borderlands, Deep Humanities & Arts, Sustainable Futures, The Inclusion Initiative); coordinates the current "Humanities and Arts in Action" initiative through Public Humanities offerings; and researches, writes, and submits grant proposals to acquire additional support for the broad category of Public Humanities.
Cheyla Samuelson
