CSU + Adobe Center of Excellence at SJSU

Supporting System-Wide Innovation, Data Sharing, and Equity
The Adobe Center of Excellence (ACE) at San José State University is part of the CSU+Adobe for All . It advances equitable, future-ready teaching and learning by fostering exploration, innovation, as well as digital and AI fluency across the CSU-system.
The Center functions as a digital hub, providing training, hands-on workshops, curricular resources, and pedagogical consultation that enable intentional integration of multimodal, digital, and AI-enabled learning experiences.
The Center promotes inclusive, scaffolded pathways to digital literacy, particularly in high-impact courses such as First-Year Writing (FYW) and DFW-rate courses, where strengthened creative and AI literacies can significantly improve retention, close equity gaps, and enhance student engagement at scale.
2026 Digital Literacy Summit
The Digital Literacy Summit took place at SJSU on April 21-22, 2026. Please read the Summit Impact Report [pdf] for more information on its success.
The Ace Hub
This is a space for exploring how creative digital activities can deepen student learning. Our goal to help faculty create meaningful assignments that invite students to explore ideas, engage with different perspectives, express their thinking, and connect course content to their identities, goals, and future pathways.
